I know that anyone can start and run an online business today, but let me share my story.
Back in 2021, even though I had the full support of my family, I was an only daughter who shared a close bond with her father.
I always wanted to make my parents proud, and this became ONE of the biggest reasons I decided to start my web design business from home with no investment.
At the time, I had no idea where this decision would lead me.
I just knew that I wanted to do something important and creative.
My background in 2021
In 2021, I was in my third semester of software engineering.
My life was organized with studying, completing assignments, and learning new things about technology at the institute and at home both.
I was still trying to find out what I wanted to become in the future.
But to be honest, I’ve always been a creative and imaginative person.
I didn’t want to be limited to just programming or theoretical thinking; I wanted to create something that was visible and recognizable, something that people could take full advantage of in the future.
That’s where my vision changed to web design.
How I Became Interested in Web Design Business
When I was in my institute, I learned about website designing.
Like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C++, and basic programming.
And day by day my excitement grew as I learned more about it.
I realized that the website designing profession is ideal for me because I have always been very passionate about designing.
And that was when I decided to become a web designer and, if all goes well, start my own web design business in the future.
One thing I know about myself is that I am naturally creative.
I’ve always wanted to do something great.
It was still a new profession to design websites.
Not many people around me knew about web design as a job, but some people were still taking it seriously as a career.
But it was different for me.
I loved the idea that a simple idea could turn into a complete website.
The creativity behind the layouts, colors, and user experience attracted me.
It was a beautiful combination of art and technology.
Gradually, I started exploring this field simply out of curiosity.
The Decision That Changed Everything For me
Although I had support and convenience from home, I started thinking differently.
I remember clearly that I didn’t want to wait for the perfect time, nor did I want to depend on anything or anyone else.
I’ve always wanted to create something that helps me become more confident in myself and build credibility in my professional journey.
That’s when I decided:
I decided to start my own web design business, and I named it Innovations Creator.
Not later.
Not after graduation.
But now, from my home.
And most importantly, I decided to start all this without any investment.
Just my skills, my laptop, and my time.
Starting from home
My setup was very simple.
Just a laptop, a chair, and a small space at home.
There was no office, no team, no financial investment.
It was just me, trying to learn and understand everything step by step.
I started learning web design tools, layouts, and real-world websites in depth.
At this stage, everything seemed new, a little overwhelming, but also exciting.

My First Setup
When I first started, I didn’t have anything fancy or professional around me.
No huge and expensive setup.
No office space.
No team to guide or support me.
Just a simple laptop and a lot of curiosity.
A Basic Laptop
My entire journey started with just a laptop that could handle the basics.
It wasn’t high-end or powerful, but it was enough for what I needed at that time.
And I slowly realized something important:
You don’t need the most powerful tools to start what you want to do; you just need something that lets you start.
No Office Environment
I didn’t have a proper workspace or office setup.
Most of the time, I worked from whatever space I could manage at home.
At first, I thought this would hold me back.
But over time, I understood:
In my case, my environment doesn’t define my progress; my consistency does.
No Team
I was completely on my own in the beginning.
No teammates.
No mentor sitting beside me.
No one checking my progress daily.
No one was there to cheer me
And honestly, that part felt challenging at times.
But it also taught me independence.
I had to keep learning and should keep working on myself, my productivity, and my future goals.
The Reality of Starting a Business is Quite Different.
I didn’t know how to find clients.
Nor did I know how to market myself.
I didn’t even know how to properly present my skills online and offline as an entrepreneur.
I used to ask myself everyday:
Am I doing this right?
And the truth is, I had no one to guide me step by step.
I could figure out all the information by myself.
I slowly came to understand that learning an extraordinary skill and turning it into a profitable business are two very different things.
Taking Things Slowly and Moving Forward
I didn’t give up; instead, I worked on getting better.
I started working on small designs for websites.
I looked at different tools and tried to figure out how real websites are built.
At that point, even small steps forward felt like big wins.
I didn’t hurry.
I kept learning, making things, and getting better.
And little by little, I began to feel more sure of myself.
What I learned from my experience is
I realized that starting is the hardest and most important part of any career.
ONLY START
NOTHING ELSE…
And I am grateful to myself that I did this back in 2021.
You really don’t need everything with perfection.
My friend, trust me, perfection actually doesn’t exist.
Nor do you need huge funds, investment, or a complete A-Z plan.
What you just need is the courage to start.
I didn’t have that courage while I was in my beginning phase; I almost every day asked myself, what if anybody makes fun of me?
And I also learned that consistency is more important than speed.
Even slow progress makes a lot of sense over time.
And most importantly, every expert was once a beginner; he just didn’t learn to stop.
My Daily Routine
When I first started my journey as an solopreneur, I did not have a perfect routine or a fixed schedule.
I was still trying to understand what actually works best for me.
But as I was moving forward everyday without getting distracted, I noticed a very great pattern for my productivity.
Consistency does not come from motivation.
It comes from structure.
So I slowly built a simple daily routine that I could actually follow, even on days when I did not feel very productive.
Morning: Getting My Mind Ready
My mornings were usually calm. I did not rush into work immediately.
I would start by checking what I needed to focus on for the day.
Sometimes I would watch tutorials, sometimes I would read, and sometimes I would just organize my thoughts.
This helped me stay clear instead of feeling overwhelmed.
I learned that when your mind is clear in the morning, the rest of the day becomes much easier to handle.
Midday: Learning and Practice
This was the most important part of my daily routine.
I spent most of my time learning new skills and actually applying them instead of just consuming information.
I would try small tasks, make mistakes, correct them, and improve step by step.
This is where real progress started to happen for me. Not from watching, but from doing.
Afternoon: Focused Work Time
In the afternoon, I tried to stay more focused and serious about my work.
Whether it was practice projects, freelancing tasks, or trying new ideas, I treated this time as my deep work period.
I stopped jumping between multiple things.
I learned to focus on one task properly instead of doing many things in a scattered way.
Evening: Review and Reflection
At the end of the day, I would take a few minutes to reflect on what I did.
I would ask myself what went well, what did not work, and what I could improve the next day.
This habit helped me stay aware of my progress instead of feeling lost or confused.
Even a short reflection made a big difference over time.
What I Learned From My Routine
My routine was never perfect.
There were days when I followed it well and days when I did not.
But the most important thing I learned is this.
You do not need a complicated schedule.
You just need small actions repeated consistently.
Over time, those small actions quietly start shaping real progress in your journey.
My Success Story: Innovations Creator
Before I share my final thoughts, I want to tell you something real from my journey.
There was a point where everything I was learning and trying finally started making sense.
Not perfectly, but yes, enough for me to take a step.
That’s when I started Innovations Creator.
It wasn’t something big.
It wasn’t perfect.
It was just a simple idea.
A place where I could actually use what I was learning.
Innovations Creator is not just my business; it’s a space where I can use my skills to help others build their online businesses and brands.
Something that’s real.
Something I own
In those days, I really didn’t have everything uncovered yet.
I was still learning.
Still improving.
Still making mistakes.
But this time felt different.
Because I wasn’t just learning anymore.
I was actually doing something with it.
How It Started
I started small.
No big investment.
No team.
No perfect plan.
Just a clear intention to create something meaningful.
I focused on what I already knew:
Website designing
Learning new tools
Improving step by step
And instead of waiting to feel ready, I just started with what I had.
What Changed for Me
Working on Innovations Creator changed a lot for me.
It didn’t feel like practice anymore.
Day by day, it started feeling real.
Real work.
Real learning.
Real responsibility.
I began to understand how everything started making sense for me.
My skills, my effort, my consistency, my discipline, my routine, and my mindset.
And with time, I became more confident in myself.
What Success Meant to Me
Honestly, success for me wasn’t about money.
I’ve always seen myself as an independent woman, and I needed flexibility and freedom in my life.
And that’s why it all started with a simple thought:
I believe I can do something extraordinary on my own.
That belief changed everything for me.
Because once you feel that, you stop waiting for chances and start creating your own.
